Pummi Uppal Memorial tournament 2009

  • In 1984, the Guru Nanak Sporting Club mourned the death of a fellow player, Pumi Singh Uppal. The death of this young man was a shock to all that played with him and against him, and in his memory a memorial tournament as been held every year for the past 25 years in appreciation to his devotion to the club.
